Cancellation Policy

Failure to show for any confirmed grooming appointment will result in a no-show fee equivalent to the cost of your pet's groom.*

PLEASE let us know beforehand if your pet has any history of biting or aggression.  This does not mean we will not groom your pet, only that we will be prepared to handle them correctly.  If we are not warned beforehand and are caught off-guard and bitten by your pet, the groom will have to be brought to an end for safety reasons.

We will only dematt your pet within reason.  If your pet is heavily matted or pelted there is nothing we can do and they will have to be shaved with whatever length will fit underneath the matts.  This is for the safety and comfort of your pet.

      Matted Coat Policy

Mats form when a pet’s coat is not regularly brushed and combed. Severe matting can cause discomfort, skin irritation, and other health concerns. For the safety and well-being of your pet, we will always choose the most humane grooming option.

If matting is mild, we may be able to carefully brush and comb it out. However, if the matting is tight to the skin or causes discomfort, a shorter haircut or shave-down may be necessary to safely remove the affected coat.

Regular grooming appointments and proper at-home maintenance are the best ways to prevent excessive matting and keep your pet comfortable.

Perfect Paws Mobile Grooming is not responsible for any pre-existing skin conditions, irritation, redness, sores, or other issues that may be revealed after a matted coat is removed. By scheduling a grooming appointment, you acknowledge that mat removal may expose underlying skin conditions that were previously hidden by the coat.

Refusal of Service

The safety and comfort of your pet is our top priority. We reserve the right to stop, modify, or refuse any grooming service if we determine it is in the best interest of your pet or if your pet displays behavior that may pose a risk to themselves or others.

We do not accept pets with fleas.

                                                        Maintenance Scheduling

To provide the highest level of care and ensure consistent coat maintenance, we recommend scheduling your dog’s grooming appointments in advance. Most of our clients reserve appointments several months ahead—or even for the entire year—to guarantee their preferred dates and times.

Because our schedule fills quickly, changes to pre-booked appointments may not always be possible. We encourage you to choose appointment dates carefully and keep them whenever possible.

To maintain the health and condition of your dog’s coat, we accept clients on a grooming schedule of every 8 weeks or less. Dogs groomed on a schedule longer than 8 weeks may require additional time and care, and a maintenance fee may apply depending on coat condition.
